Honestly, I think that Season 5 bring the worst isnā€™t even an opinion anymore. Itā€™s a fact.
I see a lot of people on the Brazilian fandom and especially on the YouTube speaking of how this season is action packed and full of twists.
But, honestlyā€¦ itā€™s mostly the plot rushing through things that it should have developed earlier, retcons and bad writing.
I could rant for hours at how bad this season isā€¦
To me, it how marinette is barely facing any consequences at all and I mean people not trusting her and mad at her for her actions and behavior. Instead, we get excuses for them and weā€™re supposed to be cool with it. And what gets me the most is how it doesnā€™t matter if she messes up, she still the best superhero in the world, even though she help ended the world completely.
It doesnā€™t matter if it was action packed and has many twists and turns, if it was written poorly and badly, it becomes more obnoxious than anything. Like, why do the alliance rings work and why did they need to do existence when Gabriel created akumas that had similar powers to the miraculous but just better than any of them, like did he really need the miraculous to do that? Why does marinette keep thinking love was the problem when it was her lack of trust in chat noir and not communicating with him at all. Why remove Su-Han from the story when they need him more now than ever?! Why make the statue scene be the moment when Adrien falls for marinette when there were other moments to choose from? Why excuse Felix and Marinetteā€™s bad actions and behavior, then said ChloĆ© has no excuse to act like a bitch? Why isnā€™t Felix helping in season finale when you said he cares about his cousin and girlfriend so much, I guess he doesnā€™t consider he doesnā€™t try to help break them out? Why blame love for everything when real problem was the lack of trust, not knowing each otherā€™s identities, and just being completely assholes to each other especially ladybug towards chat noir?! And there so much more that I can think of, it frustrates me that I have to watch this season and act like this is okay.

Not gonna lie I'm still really pissed above and beyond about Gabriel's wish at the end of season 5.
Especially since he's being able to do it and instead wish for something else entirely anyway.
Like, for 5 seasons he wanted to bring back Emilie so Adrien could have his mother again.
He ends up instead going to join her in the afterlife and let Nathalie take care of Adrien instead.
He selfishly decided to not give Adrien back his mom but instead make him an orphan and have someone else do the job for him just so he could be with his love, so his feelings mattered more than Adrien's I guess. Given all the talk about Adrien needing his mother, oh well he can keep Nathalie instead. He could have legit healed Emilie and brought her back in Adrien's life and given what we see in Werepapas she seems to have been nice and just wanting her family together rather than obsessing over magical jewels and getting back her health, clearly the only adult in the house with reason.
Heck, Nathalie was dead in the end, he brought her back so he could simply go without remorse with Emilie.
I kind of hope that even if he's dead, he still went in hell separating him forever from Emilie.
Because honestly I doubt that Emilie would take him back in death after knowing what he did.
I feel she wouldn't be proud, as he wasted 99% of his screentime not caring about Adrien much when she wanted him to be there for him and he screwed it up, and if he did, he later took it back, and especially in season 5 where it was more emotional manipulation than love.
Hell I will say Gabriel ain't related to Adrien, he was made from his amok by Emilie and she had him for nine months in herself, Gabriel had no participation in it, unless you count that Emilie used her feelings of love toward Gabriel to create Adrien, but still, I consider him his step dad instead of his dad because one, honestly true that Adrien was made by magic and by Emilie alone with the Peacock miraculous so Gabriel did nothing except giving the peacock to her, whereas Felix was created by Colt, and Amelie also had him for nine months before giving birth to him, so Felix really does have a dad, Adrien doesn't much. Gabriel is married to his mother but he's more like his step dad.
And you know what, after seeing Werepapas, I feel we finally had the real reason for why Adrien was homeschooled, it was to keep Emilie company while Gabriel and Nathalie were trying to find the miraculouses.
That's honestly in equal parts sweet and sad. On one hand he got to be really close to her before her death years later, on the other hand it still made him really isolated from the world and he couldn't really be a normal kid while also being alone with his ill mother and being there the entire time she slowly was dying for his entire childhood and seeing her getting worse over the years, while his dad was too busy trying to save her than trying to spend what little time they had left, that's depressing as fuck.
And Gabriel in the end just ends up prioritizing his own feelings over Adrien's, he dies and let Emilie die and let Nathalie handle the rest without a thought about what she has to say about it, sure Emilie was fine with Nathalie being there for him when she would be gone and I find it sweet, but also, also, still Gabriel's decision just comes from selfishness.
Though I still find it weird, because given season 1 Nathalie seemed like one of the most cold person around, for someone who is supposed to have been motherly to Adrien since he was young, the fact that she decides to just steal Marinette's gift to give to Adrien on behalf of Gabriel when he's angry at her for not making him remember about it, making it also look like she forgot about it and didn't care, and apparently probably also didn't give Adrien a gift herself either, well, it looks weird. Or just the writers forgot that Nathalie was pretty much more an employee and assistant than family back in season 1. Also there's the line where Adrien said that he always gets pencils from his dad so the scarf was a nice surprise, suggesting Nathalie has been secretly giving him pencils in his father's name for years, yeah, weird.
I guess that after using the peacock she tried to make the best with what little time she had left and tried to do right by Adrien.
Probably why Gabriel revived her while he went in the afterlife with Emilie, because she was doing everything he should have toward Adrien, and he knew he couldn't do that, but appreciated that she did, and felt like she deserved another chance and that Adrien would be in good hands with her. That's about the only reason I could see why he changed his wish at the end, because he knew Nathalie redeemed herself while she still had time while he was too far gone, so he decided that he didn't deserves to be with Adrien while she did and thus saved her. Possibly. It's the only selfless explanation that I could give to him for doing that, though I also feels it's still too little too late from him and makes him come across as a selfish, cowardly bastard that just runs away from his responsabilities to happily join his wife in death and let someone else clean up his messes.

Can we talk about Marinetteā€™s actions relating to the amoks in contrast to Gabriel and Emilieā€™s?
In the 16 years of his life, Adrien has never had true control over his actions and decisions. Nothing has ever truly been ā€œAdrienā€ because everything is coded into his being by people who ā€˜lovedā€™ him. Who controlled him for the sake of ā€œwhatā€™s best for himā€ out of their own selfish desires.
And then, Gabriel dies, and passes ownership of the amoks to Marinette. A girl who has shown at almost every turn that she will do the selfish or jealous thing when it comes to Adrien. Who has only truly learned what the power of these objects means in the past few months. Who knows, without whatever he has been ordered to do, Adrien may not be the same person sheā€™s fallen for, that he may not love her anymore. And despite this, despite her history of being absolutely obsessed with him, and the fact that if she had gotten this opportunity earlier in their relationship she wouldā€™ve likely taken some advantage of it, she gives them to Adrien to keep.
Marinette. Obsessed, jealous, selfish, lovesick Marinette. And yet she is the first and only person in his life to understand the power she holds over him and makes the choice to not only willingly relinquish it, but give Adrien the reins and release him from the bridle that has acted as a muzzle for his entire existence. She sacrifices the opportunity to have the perfect life that sheā€™s dreamt of for years now, understanding that it doesnā€™t matter what she wants. It canā€™t matter. Because for him, itā€™s only ever mattered what other people wanted for, from, and of him. She may lose everything sheā€™s improved and worked for, but she finally understands that it doesnā€™t matter, because his freedom is worth infinitely more than her happiness. Her only real order to him is to keep the rings safe. She wants him to stay alive and be stable for his freedom, and enjoy it in its entirety.
Emilie and Gabriel both made the choice to use the amoks to morph Adrien into the obedient child they wanted. Gabriel does initially hesitate with this decision, but the moment Adrien starts actually experiencing external joy and finding any amount of freedom, Gabriel pulls the reins back and returns Adrien to his powerful grasp. Adrien cannot be allowed to date anyone Gabriel doesnā€™t see fit. It doesnā€™t matter what Adrien wants, because Gabriel can change that. It would only take one order to erase Marinette from Adrienā€™s life. But he wants to deter her naturally, because bringing Adrien back into isolation so suddenly would create an uproar from both his classmates and the general public at this point.
And Emilie, ā€œthe good parentā€ still didnā€™t let Adrien go to school, still made him model at such a young age, is also guilty when it comes to his lack of presents for his birthday or holidays, and is seen as consistently happy with this result. Thereā€™s no mention of Emilie ever being upset at or about Adrienā€™s circumstances. Sheā€™s an ā€œangelā€ actually playing devilā€™s advocate with a smile, teeth hiding her forked silver tongue.
How is it, that the ones who created him, and brought him into existence, care less about his individual wellbeing than a girl who could very easily slot in with the rest of his creepy and obsessed fan base. How tragic is it to know that his creators care less for him than someone who fell for him as the object they forced him into the mold of.

Bro had the biggest glow down and even got redeemed
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I know the writers tried to give him depth, but he ended up as a laughable, pathetic antagonist with barely any complexity. He cared about his son, but he didnā€™t mind using him to further his own goals. That wouldnā€™t have been a problem if it had been handled well, but it wasnā€™t. Sure, he supposedly loved his son, but he barely showed any internal conflict over his actions. Simply saying he loves Adrien without demonstrating it in meaningful ways isnā€™t enough. Gabriel made no moves toward redemption, either. He couldā€™ve had a complicated relationship with Adrien, loving him deeply yet losing his humanity in his pursuit of power. In that case, a redemption arc wouldā€™ve felt forced, as his descent would be intentional. So, to me, Gabriel didnā€™t truly love his son, came across as a weak villain who the main characters didnā€™t even fear, and somehow got redeemed without putting in any effort to change.
Now, comparing this version of Gabriel to the original concept for him, Richard Sphinx, makes it clearer. Richard might not have had much depth initially (he wasnā€™t even related to Chat Noir at first), but at least he looked and felt like a genuine menace. Just look at his design! Heā€™s clearly someone to fear.

Ashes of Rage: Act 1 - There's Something So Morbidly Beautiful About A Funeral
Chapter 8 of the story for @miner249er
AO3 Beginning Last Chapter
Summary: Wu Fei knew grief well, she wore it even better, but there was nothing in this world that she wouldn't give to put an end to it. It would be better even if it never happened, but life wasn't fair and that was something else she knew well.
There's Something So Morbidly Beautiful About A Funeral:
Death was inevitable. That was a stone cold, hard truth. One that Wu Fei knew well and had previously despised. Others feared Death, but Fei had hated it with an anger so vicious it scared her. It was like she skipped the first stage of grief altogether and just jumped straight into anger when her adopted father Shifu had passed. It had consumed her until she had met Marinette. That fateful meeting had been the catalyst of change she needed and the domino that started the chain of events that had occurred. At the end of it all, Fei had fully taken the responsibility that had been bestowed upon her and somehow found another family that wanted her. Wang was a wonderful pseudo great-uncle and Marinette had become something like a sister to her despite the distance between them.Ā
Everyday they exchanged messages or funny pictures, sometimes they even had time to video call which was always a treat Fei looked forward to. Sometimes both girls were too busy with their day to day lives that the most they could do was send each other a simple message or picture, but even being busy didnā€™t stop them from letting each other know they were thinking of each other. The number of care packages they sent each other was a wonderful constant in Feiā€™s life. Living with Wang brought a new routine to Feiā€™s life, one she cherished as she knew how chaotic oneā€™s life could be without routine, and she knew she was someone who thrived on a routine.Ā
Therefore, she knew something was wrong when she had woken up and received no message from Marinette, not even a picture or meme. She tried to tell herself it was nothing and that the girl had probably been too busy but she just had this feeling in her gut that something was deeply wrong. Even with the time difference Marinette always messaged as she was as much a creature of habit as Fei was. Fei followed Paris news as well as numerous blogs that tracked Team Miraculous, though it had taken her some time, she had found out that Marinette was Ladybug. At first she had been hurt and confused as to why Marinette had never told her but over time she understood. It wasnā€™t that Marinette didnā€™t trust her, it was because her chosen sister loved her and was scared.Ā
That was something that Fei knew all about as she worried about Uncle Wang constantly because of her responsibilities but over time she saw no need to hide it from the man. Also, Mei Shi trusted the man and advised Fei to be open with him which had surprised her greatly considering that the Prodigious had always been something that was heavily guarded. Something about Uncle Wangā€™s aura made Mei Shi sure about his advice and of course she followed it. Plus, Mei Shi pointed out that she had already transformed in front of who she thought was a civilian without much thought so overall, she thought it was a fair decision. One that had worked out greatly for her, not that she doubted Mei Shi or anything.Ā
For a while, it felt like she was betraying her father whenever she felt happy with Uncle Wang and how he took care of her and it had definitely been a hurdle to overcome. For every smile and laugh her new Uncle brought out of her, it had always quickly been followed by a frown and tears. She was happy one moment and unbearably angry and heartbroken the next. It was like her emotions were on a constantly spinning wheel and her emotions flashed as fast as the wheel spun. It took Uncle Wang making them a picnic and taking her to her fatherā€™s gravesite for her to finally confess all her feelings through her sobbing. He helped her set up some flowers, incense, and the picnic.Ā
She cried as Uncle Wang spoke to her father and promised him he would care for and love Fei as she deserved and as her father wished. Then he gave her time to talk to her father as well as she ate her share of the picnic Uncle Wang made for them. . She spoke for what felt like forever, she laughed, she cried, she screamed and when she was finally done Uncle Wang simply helped her pick up the picnic and helped her clean her fatherā€™s grave since it was something she hadnā€™t done before. Then he took her to a crafting store and had her pick out a frame for a photo of her father to go in their home, whether that be her room or the main hall, he told her she could choose. Fei may have cried once more as she picked out a frame and little things she knew her father liked or found funny to decorate it with.Ā
In the end she decided to put her fatherā€™s picture in her room since she had a large window that she could see a beautiful sunrise and sunset through it. Her father had always been fond of sunrises and just as fond of sunsets. She even added a little incense dish that she placed in front of the picture. The whole process had brought her such relief and joy that she had given Uncle Wang the biggest hug she could manage and she could still recall his warm chuckles that followed. That moment had brought such warmth into her life and soul and it had continued for a long time until now. Now it felt like all that warmth was stolen from her by some sort of malevolent leech.
Her sister in all but blood was dead. Or that is what they told everyone, and despite the evidence Fei just could not believe it. She didnā€™t want to believe it. But standing there in the section of the church staring at the many photos and flowers that decorated the space, any hope she felt had shriveled. Auntie Sabine (or Auntie Xiu Mei as she also liked to be called) was weeping heavily not that anyone blamed her but Fei knew her grief was more than her daughter passing. It was also the fact there was no body to wash or dress or display in a coffin, nor was there a body to cremate if that was the chosen desire of the family. Though Fei knew from Uncle Wang that Auntie Sabine and Uncle Tom decided to cremate her signature pink flats that were found at the scene of the crime, some of her childhood toys and clothing and some recent though not many as they couldnā€™t bear to part with much of their daughter's things.Ā
Instead of a coffin there was a beautifully painted urn with plum blossoms that adorned it placed on a pedestal. No one in France probably knew just how big the Cheng and LĒ (Auntie Sabineā€™s motherā€™s family) families were before but now they did and Fei could practically taste the surprise. The family section of the church was basically a family reunion and it would have been amusing if not for the circumstances. Despite the overwhelming sadness that hung in the air, Fei couldnā€™t help but appreciate how beautiful the ceremony was overall. Auntie Sabine wore a beautiful but plain white dress while Uncle Tom wore a smart black suit with a white lily pinned to his left breast pocket as well as a white armband placed on his left sleeve. The Cheng and LĒ side of the family all wore different shades of blue which made the section Fei was in look like waves in a stormy sea. There werenā€™t many people on the Dupain side, just Gina and Roland if you didnā€™t count Uncle Tom, and the two of them matched their son with the black clothing. They also copied their son with the white lily decoration.
The way the two stood firm in the sea of blues made Fei think of those immovable rocks that temperamental waters hit and who through it all refused to break. The way Gina still wore a black leather jacket had Fei feel enormous respect for the lady. Despite the solemn time, the woman was still effortlessly herself and the thought made Fei think that it was something that Marinette had also respected and admired. Fei herself had the privilege of wearing white and she was so grateful to Uncle Tom and Auntie Sabine for letting her wear white since both of them knew how the girls saw each other. They had actually requested she wear white before she could even work up the courage to ask the question herself. It had shocked her so much that she had promptly burst into tears while thanking the couple. She cried more when they simply hugged her and told her they knew it was something that Marinette would want.
Memories are what carried her through the ceremony and before she knew it, it was time to move venues to the reception. The reception was happening at Le Grand Paris since the hotel offered to host it in their biggest ballroom even though it was only open to family and friends. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise since no one really knew how big the Cheng and LĒ families were until the funeral and because no one really knew the extent of Marinetteā€™s friend circles. It was of course a solemn affair, but with the smell of what could only be described as a feast of Chinese and French cuisine and the mild chatter filled with stories of Marinette and the overall feeling of community had Fei think that though a funeral was a cause of grief and sadness, there was something simply beautiful about it all.
Mei Shi provided Fei with a quiet comfort as she could feel his slight weight in her small purse, one given to her by Marinette, as she had gotten ready for the day, the purse had seemed like the right thing to wear. It also aided in keeping her small friend and mentor close, as she felt like a pocket wasnā€™t enough space for the little guardian. She could also feel the Renlings around her in spirit and that gave her a feeling of strength she hadnā€™t felt in a long time since the news hit her. It carried her through dreadful small talk, memories shared as freely as tears, and more dreadful; heart-felt talks. She powered through it all even if she didnā€™t know everyone. Some she knew well as Uncle Wang was very open and proud of his ward/pseudo niece. So she was well acquainted or even friends with some of the Chengs. And others, like the LĒ family who she knew purely through stories from Uncle Wang, Auntie Sabine and Marinette. Then lastly she had the French side who, well, she only knew Uncle Tom and his parents and then there were Marinetteā€™s friends who she felt like she knew as well as she could if she had lived with Marinette.
It was a weird, new feeling, to know someone without ever actually meeting them. Yet, she could not make herself approach any of those said friends. She didnā€™t know if she could manage that. It was overwhelming every time she met one of their eyes and it took everything in her not to burst into tears because she knew, she knew, how loved they made Marinette feel and how fiercely she loved them in return. It was a childish fear that made her stay away, she felt like if she got close to them and felt the love they feel for Marinette or if she felt the lingering love Marinette felt for them it would awaken a jealousy in her. She had of course felt jealousy before and in some cases it was intense and it always brought her a feeling of shame. This time, it felt like a dangerous beast awaiting to be let out.Ā
It was out of her love for Marinette she was staying away, or so she was trying to convince herself. She was just so convinced that if she talked to them she would say something so hurtful out of misplaced anger, jealousy and grief that Marinetteā€™s friends would hate her forever. That was something she absolutely did not want. Though she admitted she was jealous of them, at least to herself, though she was sure Mei Shi suspected, that didnā€™t mean she wanted them to hate her. These people were important to Marinette and she knew that her sister had wanted them all to meet because she was convinced they would all be the best of friends. Fei had agreed at the time to meet them at some point since she and Marinette had been plotting a way to get Fei to visit come summer but now, now it feltā€¦weird to even consider.
Introducing herself to Marinetteā€™s friends and maybe even becoming friends with them felt so wrong on a monumental scale. Nothing about it would ever feel right because it would happen without Marinette. It felt sinful. Just thinking about it made her feel dirty in a way she could never put into words. On the other hand, by holding herself back she knew Marinette would be unhappy, but by following the wishes of ghosts had already misled her once. Fei didnā€™t want to make the same mistake. The Renlings and Mei Shi had already told her she was being silly as they were very in tune with her emotions and thoughts, the Renlings especially as they were always with her in a sort of spiritual way. No one could see them unless they wanted them too, though Fei could always see them, and apparently other beings like them could always see them and sense them. Apparently someĀ  people who were sensitive to their kind of energy could sense them but not see them.
ā€œFei, sweetheart,ā€ Fei was cut from her thoughts by the soft voice of Auntie Sabine. ā€œHow are you doing?ā€
ā€œIā€™m fi-ā€
ā€œSweetie.ā€ Auntie Sabine gently reprimanded her almost answer and it made Fei wince with a sheepish smile.Ā
ā€œIā€™m doing better but stillā€¦notā€¦not too great.ā€ She answered truthfully.Ā
Her auntie simply gave her a sad smile but took her hand in hers and gave it a soft pat. ā€œI understand. I just wanted to thank you for being here.ā€
ā€œAuntieā€¦ā€ Fei muttered in awe. She knows today could not be easy on Sabine and yet here the woman stood tall with a smile for Fei. The strength the woman had always left Fei in awe. ā€œOf course Iā€™d be hereā€¦I-I couldnā€™t miss it.ā€
ā€œYouā€™re a good girl.ā€Ā
ā€œYouā€™re too kind Auntie.ā€Ā
ā€œItā€™s not kindness if itā€™s true.ā€
Fei couldnā€™t help the small chuckle that left her. ā€œWell maybe it can be bot-ā€
ā€œI WANT HER BACK!ā€ Their conversation was cut short by a very loud and childish voice that seemed to have caught the attention of everyone. It was a little girl who was stomping away from who Fei assumed was her mother. It took only a moment for Fei to recognize them both.
ā€œManonā€¦please!ā€ The woman, who Fei realized was Nadja Chamack, a local reporter and Auntie Sabineā€™s good friend, begged the little girl. A little girl who Fei knew to be Manon Chamack. Marinette had shared a lot of photos of the little girl or selfies of them both since Manon seemed to love filters. She was one of the kids that Marinette babysat a lot.
ā€œNO! I DONā€™T WANT MARIE! OR HUGO! OR JEAN! OR WHOEVER ELSE YOU THINK SHOULD BABYSIT ME!ā€ Manon yelled out, her face turning an impressive shade of red. ā€œI WANT MARINETTE BACK!ā€
There was a collective gasp and following silence that had Fei feeling like she was at the edge of a cliff.Ā
ā€œI just want Marinetteā€¦ā€ Manonā€™s voice had gotten softer but her sobs had greatly increased in volume and it seemed to have affected everyone. There was not one dry eye at the little girl's confession because everyone felt the same. ā€œI just want her backā€¦ā€
ā€œOh babyā€¦ā€ Nadja choked out as she watched her daughter fall to her knees. Fei watched as Nada lowered herself to the ground next to her daughter and hugged her to her. It was at this point that Fei looked away so she could give the mother and daughter some privacy and was happy to see others do the same. Though not all attendants gave the two some privacy and Fei couldnā€™t help but scoff at the behavior. Pain was not supposed to be a spectacle. Though she knew this particular funeral was a spectacle despite Auntie Sabine and Uncle Tomā€™s best efforts, therefore everyoneā€™s pain was part of said spectacle.Ā
Being so close to the source of some peopleā€™s attention had Fei feeling more than a little uncomfortable so she quietly excused herself from her Aunt so she could go grab something to drink as she found herself suddenly parched. It was as she was on her way towards the dining tables that she felt a pull from Mei Shi and the Renlings. Though Mei Shiā€™s was more physical whilst the Renlingsā€™ was more spiritual. Fei huffed softly to herself but diligently followed the pull which thankfully was still in the direction of the dining tables. So perhaps she could still get a drink while she investigated whatever Mei Shi and the Renlings were pulling her towards. As she walked she casually looked around her to see if anything was out of the normal but nothing jumped out at her until she actually reached the table full of drinks that had been her original destination.Ā
There were two teens standing next to the water pitchers which had been her goal. She quickly identified the two as Luka Couffaine and Tsuguri Kagami as Marinette had shown her more than enough pictures and videos of her friends and these two featured most often. The two were talking in low voices to one another and Fei was confused as to what she was supposed to be seeing since they definitely were where she was being led to. It was right as she was about to reach them that she saw two small figures and instantly she felt this rush of energy. One was peeking out of the long sleeves of Kagamiā€™s kimono and the other was peeking out of the inside of Lukaā€™s now unbuttoned tux jacket. She didnā€™t know what they were but they looked and felt similar to Mei Shi and the Renlings. As soon as she made the connection she knew this is where she was being led.
With a deep breath in and a deep breath out, Fei squared her shoulders and approached the two with more confidence than she actually felt. ā€œHello. My name is Wu Fei. It is nice to officially meet you two.ā€

In the alt universe, Gabriel is STILL a bad father.
From what Claw Noir says, Gabriel basically just moved on and pretended like everything was fine while leaving his son to deal with a bunch of hard-to-process emotions on his own. Claw Noir even specifically stated his dad was neglectful and just cared about costumes. He's so caught up in fashion designing and his role "fighting evil" that he forgets about his own son.
This is further shown by how "good" Gabe laments that he's so alone. I guess his son is just a piece of furniture.
I feel about as much sympathy for Gabe as I do for Buck Cluck blaming his inability to parent on no longer having his wife.

Nooroo's Champion
Nooroo couldn't take it anymore. He knew using his power without a holder was dangerous, but he couldn't live like this anymore.
While Gabriel wasn't looking he looked for an emotion that correlated with what he wanted. Finding an emotion from a prisoner jailed unfairly he makes an (I don't think butterflies made for good would be called akumas and don't know what to call them), which looks like an akuma but lavender purple and more fairy like and turns them in to (akuma name) who frees the innocent and jails the guilty and can show proof. I'm going to headcannon nooroo can do it telepathic so he won't talk and tip Gabriel off.
For consequences I'm gonna say that that akuma is extremely overpowered. It want to punish anyone who guilt and biggest stop is guilty hawkmoth to punish him and save nooroo. I'm going to say that Gabriel can't take them away sense it wasn't an akuma and cant order nooroo to do it because of of the consquence is that needs needs the akuma concent for the powers to go away. Gab tries making some akumas and sentimonster to defend him but their weak compare to one made without a holder.
Eventually he defeat hm, saves nooroo, exposes Lila, mayor corruptions, mme bustier, ext. I'll say that that prisons was feeling left of magical influence for months.

Imma say this once, AND ONLY ONCE!
I don't care if you like a character. I have no problem, but it grides my gears when people are like "bUt tHeIr tRaMaTiC PaSt!" To excuse their behavior. In the words of Rocket: "Everybody's got dead people! ButĀ it makes no excuse to letting everyone else around get killed along the way!"
Just because your wife died or your mom is abusive doesn't mean you get to be a domestic teřřorĆst or a dictator!

The Power of Love in Miraculous Ladybug
It's bad.
Legit bad.
Just in the opening song, you hear: "The power of love always so strong!"
More like always so strong at creating all the problems in the freaking show fr.
Gabriel is Hawk Moth just to get the miraculouses to save his wife, so he is motivated by love.
Marinette legit screwed herself up in 4 of the 5 seasons finales because of love.
And that's not getting into all the akumas she caused just because she was so caught up in her own feelings that she screwed over other people or just ended up hurting other people's feelings in her wake.
The world legit ended because of her love.
Also had to reset an entire timeline too because she couldn't stick to her plan the moment she learned Adrien was Chat Noir.
Let's not forget how the show portrays Marinette's love of Adrien, via stalking, knowing everything in his schedule for the next 3 years, planning his birthday gifts for decades in advance (and apparently having weird gifts too since she threw one of them in the trash once she saw Adrien's confused reaction to it), getting jealous of any girl getting close to him to the point that she once teamed up with ChloƩ to get Kagami away, and Kagami had done nothing to deserve being humiliated publicly like that, even worse is that the year before Marinette got humiliated b ChloƩ in front of a guy she liked by said guy she liked which started her whole obsession about Adrien later on which just makes her a double hypocrite in Animaestro.
Marinette treats Adrien more like a prize than a person, you're not gonna make me believe that everything she knows about him is stuff she learned from him by talking to him, please, given how she could barely speak to him you really think she would pull this off? Pretty sure she just researched him online, at one point she pratically begs Nino to tell her what Adrien finds funny.
And yet not once does she consider if Adrien would actually have a word in their relationship, she called him her Adrien as far as season 1.
Meanwhile, Gabriel loves his son but also emotionally abuse him, and also gets physical with him once he learns he's Chat Noir, he yeeted him to the Eiffel Tower, I never forgave him for that.
He also loves his wife, but he also ended up losing his one real chance at bringing her back just to get back at Ladybug, so you can say his love wasn't enough anymore.
The Power of Love was motivating him until it changed to obsession at revenge with Ladybug.
Now I wonder what's it's gonna take until Marinette realise her love for Adrien is her downfall. So far it screwed her over everytime more than anything else, it's not her strenght it's her biggest weakness that brings out the worst in her, and it got brought to it's height in the season 5 finale and the London special.
Lying to the whole world about Gabriel just to spare Adrien's feelings because Gabriel asked her too, especially after everything he did to him, to her and everyone else? Yeah, no.
It just traps Adrien more.
It's disgusting.
The Power of Love is the biggest evil in the freaking show to the point it's its own character.
Lila wish she could be just as bad.
Maybe she will be able to show us.
And with how season 5 ended, I'm wondering how The Power of Love is gonna do, probably do even more damage.
The Power of Love shown by the main protagonist and the main villain is the most terrifying thing ever in the show.

Chapter 1 - The news
Tumblr media
London Police Department: Agent: Frank Gallagher, Crime Scene Investigator Content of report: The victim (Adrien Ɖmile Gabriel Donatien Athanase Agreste, M15) seems to have been starved for a prolonged amount of time. When police officer Jane Roosevelt arrived at the scene, the body had already disappeared. The place seemed almost empty, except for a robot servant, whose purpose remains unknown, and a table football station (that, due to the victim being kept alone, agent E. Parker has defined as "utterly useless"). No traces of the body were found. Camera recordings show that the boy simply disappeared. There appears to be no logical explanation. Comments: I don't know. I don't fucking know, Sally. Does his father have telekinesis or some shit?
Update, June 23: Victim's cousin, FĆ©lix Fathom, hinted at the possibility of magic being involved. From his statement, his father had rings that could possibly cause the death of the victim. FĆ©lix Fathom doesn't appear to be under the influence of drugs. Comments: So, should we put his cousin on the list of possible suspects or in psychotherapy?
